Using Charm Lab

Charm Lab is operated by Tenhauser Holdings LLC, California, United States. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be able to enter into a binding agreement, or use the service with a parent or guardian who agrees on your behalf. Keep your account access secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Charm Lab provides digital design and conversion tools. We do not manufacture or ship physical products through this service.

Your artwork and outputs

You retain the rights you hold in your uploaded artwork. You give us permission to process, store, and transmit it as needed to provide the features you request and support you authorize. Upload only material you own or have permission to use.

You may use your outputs, including for commercial projects, to the extent you have the necessary rights to the underlying artwork. Conversion, a subscription, or an export does not grant rights to third-party characters, logos, trademarks, or other protected designs. Rights to any third-party assets remain subject to their licenses.

Do not upload unlawful material, malicious files, or content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual property. To report a rights concern, contact charmlabsupport@proton.me with the relevant details.

Exports, credits, and subscriptions

Designing in the editor is free. New accounts receive three free export credits. A completed print kit uses one Maker export, or one separate credit when no monthly allowance or unlimited access applies. Unchanged re-downloads from the same account are free during the 24-hour cache window. A changed design or a download after that window can count as another export.

Credit packs cost $2 USD for 10 exports or $5 USD for 25 exports and do not expire. The $2 offer may be discontinued for new purchases without changing purchased credits. Founding Member costs $5 USD per month and Studio costs $10 USD per month; both include unlimited exports and PNG conversion with daily limits, renewing until canceled. Eligible paid La Conchita Bonita Patreon members receive unlimited exports while their verified membership qualifies. Maker costs $5 USD per month for 100 completed print-kit exports per paid billing period. Unused exports do not roll over. Founding enrollment is closed. Existing founders keep unlimited exports. Maker uses its monthly allowance before separate credits. Failed exports and unchanged re-downloads within 24 hours use no allowance. Review the final amount and any taxes displayed at checkout.

Founding Member enrollment is closed after 150 paid memberships. Canceled spots never reopen, and canceling permanently forfeits your founding price. Access continues through the paid period unless a refund, dispute, or other access restriction applies. Future premium extras are excluded unless we explicitly include them. Studio seller productivity tools and an AI support/design assistant allowance are coming soon, not currently available; their scope, allowance, and timing depend on customer validation.

Unlimited means no per-export credit charge while access is active. Technical rate limits and safeguards against automated abuse still apply. PNG conversion has separate daily image and processing allowances; it is not unlimited processing.

PNG conversion uses no export credits but requires remaining qualifying purchased credits or an active Charm Lab membership. Starter, referral, video, and other free credits alone do not unlock it. The converter displays the applicable allowance. Limits can change to maintain reliable service.

Refunds, cancellations, and delivery are explained in our Refunds & cancellation policy. Credits are service entitlements, not currency. Test-mode payments and credits are separate from live purchases and do not represent real charges.

Referrals and video rewards

Reward submissions are reviewed under the criteria shown when you submit. Referrals require a verified qualifying payment; a signup alone does not earn a paid referral reward. Do not self-refer, create duplicate accounts to claim free credits, or submit another person’s work as your own.

Rewards are not cash and do not unlock PNG conversion by themselves. We may reject duplicates, fraudulent submissions, or submissions that do not meet the displayed criteria. Qualifying payments that are refunded or disputed can affect reward eligibility.

Print quality, backups, and availability

Preview dimensions and fit checks help you design; they do not guarantee the strength, fit, food-contact suitability, or safety of a printed object. Check the exported model in your slicer and test with your printer, material, and intended use. STL files do not store colors; the companion SVG is a color reference.

Use Save project in Artwork to download an editable project and Open project to restore it. Keep your own copies of artwork and exported files. Signing in does not create an online project library. Local recovery depends on browser storage and can be lost when site data is cleared or a session ends.

We may maintain, update, or temporarily pause features. We will investigate service problems reported to support. We may restrict access for abuse, nonpayment, or unlawful use, subject to applicable law.

Responsibility and changes

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that every design will convert, print, or work for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
